Who developed CYBER WORKBOOKS?
CYBER WORKBOOKS was developed by Professor Andrea Johnson, a Harvard-trained full law professor and expert in distance learning. Professor Johnson teaches Telecommunications Law, International Telecommunications Law, Administrative Law, and Business-related courses at California Western School of Law. In 1996 Professor Johnson taught the first distance learning course at an American law school, and has conducted distance learning courses at several institutions. Professor Johnson has also written and spoken extensively on distance education, creating virtual universities through interconnected networks, and designing electronic course materials.
Professor Johnson has reviewed technology grants for the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She served on Mayor Susan Golding's Blue Ribbon Commission on the City of the Future in San Diego, California; and served on President Clinton's Transition Team for Science, Space and Technology under Dr. Sally Ride. Professor Johnson reviews and evaluates courses for such publishers as Aspen Publications, and accreditation organizations such as the Distance Education and Training Council.
